After completing my primary medical qualification from Lady Hardinge Medical College, Delhi University which is recognized by WHO for primary medical qualification. I completed my basic training in obs. & gynae and allied specialties’ at AFMC, Pune and Sir Ganga Ram hospital, New Delhi a 650 bedded multi-specialty teaching hospital from 1995-1998. During the 3 years of my training I was exposed to hospital care, diagnosis of surgical patients, assisted and performed under supervision all Obs. & Gynae surgical procedures. This exposure has helped me to develop a good clinical technique in Obs. & Gynae specialties.

I had been working in a busy department in Obs. & Gynae Surgery at Fortis Jessa Ram Hospital, New Delhi, for the last nine years, We were performing 30 deliveries and 10-20 major and minor Gynae procedures in a typical working month. In keeping with the norms of evidence based practice, I have been regularly updating my work for the last few years.

For the past 4 years I have been working as an honorary consultant with BL Kapur Memorial Hospital, a700 bedded multi-specialty organization.

RESEARCH WORK

My research projects included the study of Doppler Ultrasonographic Velocimetry of the Umbilical and Uterine Artery in Pregnancy, to evaluate the outcome of the Pregnancy in low risk And high risk pregnancies who had Doppler Ultrasonography; to study the correlation between The risk factors in pregnancy and routine Doppler Ultrasonographic examination of the Umbilical And Uterine Artery.
